THE NEGLECTED TRUTH


 

Always remember Dearest One, no matter how much we love anything or anybody whatsoever, one day we will be forced to let go of them. Honestly! This is why I encourage we endeavour to start now that we still have time to disentangle ourselves from all that blocks our total gift of Self for the service of God! For there is nothing that causes damned souls more grief than the remembrance of the fact that they actually wasted their precious opportunities, time and energy in things, events and people that profited them nothing but temporary pleasures; and they know they ruined their souls with their own hands.

Even now, I still wonder. What shall it profit us that after facing all these difficulties of life, especially here in Nigeria, the same hell destined for the fallen angels will eventually be our lot just because of few minutes of carnal pleasures. Sadly, just one unrepentant mortal sin is enough. And one thing that is very certain is this fact that one day, yes, one day, each of us will face either the beatific vision of God or the horrible and miserific face of Satan. And the reason why there is no middle place is because all souls in purgatory will eventually go to heaven. Just one day, not far away, either of them will be our portion, for all eternity! Are you really prepared to face the Judgment Throne of the Triune God?

Hmm! Let us keep praying, Dearest Friends! Pray always that you do not lose your wing to heaven! For although Heaven is for all, the truth is that all will not make it! Not because God is not capable but because He cannot force himself against our will! We are the architect of our own eternal destiny. We make our choice. This is why although it is true that Jesus died for all men, the effects of His ignominious sacrificial death will profit us nothing unless we are open to His formation. It all depends so much on our response!

This is the reason why we need to be brave and courageous! In all honesty, heaven is not for the lukewarm! You better be careful and serious with your faith! Learn to deepen your prayer life. Pray unceasingly. Don't forget your daily Holy Rosary. Call upon our Lady Queen of all Hearts. She will readily lead you safe to God. Most importantly, don't forget to whisper my name to Jesus whenever you kneel to pray. Pray for me always: (At least one "Our Father" and "Hail Mary" daily). You are ever in my prayers.

REASONS WHY WE MUST KEEP PUSHING

  The sad truth about sins many of us may not be aware is that once we cease making conscious effort to get rid of any of them in our lives especially through frequent Confessions and self-denials, with time, such sin will gradually solidify in our souls. And when that happens, among its effects is that it will start generating many other terrible sins in our hearts which will eventually render our lives so miserable and horrible!
